Paranormal Activity is a horror film that was written and directed by Oren Peli. The movie premiered at a few small film festivals in the past years and recently was released in theaters. At first the Paranormal Activity film had a limited release in several cities on and due to the feedback and buzz that the movie created, it was released nationwide soon after. Paranormal Activity revolves around a Micah, a day-trader, and his girlfriend Katie, a student who claims that a ghostly entity has haunted her since her youth. When Katie suggests that the ghost has followed her to their new home in suburban California, Micah buys a video camera in the hopes of capturing any paranormal activity on tape.
